Work Description
Gullfoss is Icelandic for “Golden Waterfall” and is a two stage waterfall in southwest Iceland along the “Golden Circle” tourist route. It was formed during the last ice age when glacial runoff carved a deep canyon in the Hvita River.
On the day I visited it was partly cloudy making it challenging to get proper exposure. I was happy to see the rainbow appear as I framed this image.
