YELLOWSTONE IN WINTER
Yellowstone is the epitome of pristine beauty and wilderness…sitting atop a super-volcano. The scientific term I believe is Caldera which is the collapsed basin from the last super-eruption. So sometime in the next 200,000 years or so it will likely blow, taking parts of Wyoming and Montana with it. Fortunately we hopefully don’t have anything to worry about any time soon. We have only to take in the natural beauty and wonder of the area. Please check out my blog for details of this trip. It was a challenge but thankfully I was able to capture a small portion of this wild piece of our great American landscape.
